The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $184 million with a cash option of $85.1 million.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
The winning numbers were: 5, 35, 45, 60, 63. The Powerball drawn was 12, with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit Saturday’s $172 million jackpot. A second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Florida. It matched five numbers but not the Powerball.
In New Jersey, a third-prize, $50,000 ticket was sold at Stew Leonard’s a supermarket in Paramus, Bergen County, lottery officials said It matched four numbers plus the Powerball.
Saturday’s winning numbers were: 12, 13, 34, 44 and 67. The Powerball drawn was 8, with a Power Play of 3X.
In addition, no one nationally on Saturday won the secondary $10 million Double Play jackpot. Those winning numbers were: 36, 40, 41, 50 and 60. The Double Play number drawn was 13.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated$489 million with a cash option of $225.3 million.
